With our amazing instructors, super-fun games and equipment your own size, this is a week campers will remember and build on for the rest of their lives.
Explorers learn the skills needed to be a kayaker and standup paddleboarder: efficient paddle strokes, water safety, capsize recovery, teamwork, navigation, Leave No Trace ethics, marine ecology, personal flotation device fitting, kayak parts and much more.
We'll visit local seals, sea cucumbers and other wildlife...or they may visit us!
This is a five-day camp from Monday-Friday. You can choose morning or afternoon sessions (9 am-1 pm or 2-6 pm).
Experienced Seafarer-age paddlers (ages 7-10) may contact our program director to discuss becoming an Explorer early (360.297.4659).
