The special Earth Day paddle includes a hands-on tour of the Poulsbo Marine Science Center before paddling. Part of the proceeds will go to support the Center.
This tour is great for all ages, all experience levels, locals and visitors! Some highlights of the tour are:

This tour can be run any time for groups of up to 80 people. Groups can register on-line by clicking on the date you desire. For groups of 11 or more people, please contact us to set up your tour: (360) 297-4659 or programs@kayakproshop.com.
After introductions and check-in, your guide will give a brief wildlife and safety talk, then do a lesson (or refresher if you're an experienced paddler).
You'll then get fitted into kayaks and personal flotation devices before heading onto the water in search of wildlife. We'll take a break on the water for water, snacks and relaxation on this beautiful bay.
While paddling, your guide will share their knowledge about the the wildlife you see and the interesting natural history of the area.
Things To Bring
Water bottle
Sunscreen.
Sun glasses with strap.
Weather-appropriate clothing
Complete change of clothes--you can keep these in your car
Jacket (Windproof/Waterproof)
Feel free to bring a camera/video, but make sure it's in a dry bag or double zip-lock bag or waterproof case (pelican boxes or dry bags are best)
Tennis shoes or sandals, no boots
Hat
Snacks and a drink, no bottles.
(Tour goes rain or shine, we only cancel if wind is a factor. The wildlife will still be around for us to see.)

We run tours and classes rain or shine, but if we deem winds to make conditions too dangerous we will reschedule or give a 100% refund.
If you find the date you registered for no longer works:
-Cancellation more than one week in advance: 15% administration fee or reschedule if possible with no fee.
* Cancellation between a week and 48 hours prior to departure date: 25% administration fee or reschedule if possible with no fee.
* Cancellation 24-48 hours prior to departure date: 50% administration fee or reschedule if possible with no fee.
* Cancellation within 24 hours of tour or no-show: sorry, no refunds or reschedules.
Departs
Tours depart from the Poulsbo kayak rental dock at 10:30. Group tours are offered every Saturday June 8-September 7. Private tours almost any day and any time with 2 days prior notice.
Pickup/Departure
Meet at the Olympic Outdoor Center Poulsbo Kayak rental Dock next to the Marine Science Center in Downtown Poulsbo (18743 Front St. NE, Poulsbo, WA, 98370)
Drop-Off
Leave and return from same location.
