Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails Festival

Celebrate the newly established Kitsap Peninsula Water Trail! You can take a pleasant paddle, try kayaks, standup paddleboards and Werner Paddles and other eqiupment, let your kids try youth kayaks and play games, or just come check out our new rental location.

The optional paddle starts at Evergreen Park in Bremerton on the new Kitsap Peninsula Water Trail, with stops along the way for a poker run (prizes at the end!). We will have a shuttle available to take you back to Evergreen Park. The paddle has a suggested donation of $10/person, which will be donated to the North Kitsap Trails Association. The shuttle is $5/person.

Event entry is $5/youth and $10/adult, which will include demos of equipment, games and how-to demonstrations. This is in addition to the suggested donation for the Evergreen Park paddle.

This event is in partnernship with the Kitsap Peninsula Visitor and Convention Bureau, North Kitsap Trails Association and Kitsap County Ports.

Bring a change of clothes just in case you get wet!

Details are to be announced soon, but here are some teasers as to what will be happening at the Festival:

  • Optional paddle from Evergreen Park to Silverdale waterfront on the Kitsap Peninsula Water Trail: prizes to all paddlers and a grand prize to the winning hand in the poker run!
  • Gear available to try, with experts on hand to answer questions: Necky and Wilderness Systems Kayaks, carbon fiber and fiberglass Werner Paddles and standup paddleboards
  • Games for kids
  • Giveaways for everyone

Things To Bring

Just bring yourself, friends, family and a change of clothes in case you decide to paddle!

Inclusions

For the paddle portion, you can use your own boat of any type, or rent a kayak or standup paddleboard from us.

Rental prices are $40 for singles, $54 for doubles, or $40 for a standup paddleboard. Rentals include paddles, lifejackets and a short lesson/refresher. We will have safety boaters on the water and we will have all rental equipment at Evergreen Park.

Departs

The event at Silverdale Waterfront Park is 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pickup/Departure

The paddle will start at Evergreen Park in Bremerton and end at the Festival, which is at the Silverdale Waterfront Park in old town Silverdale, just off Chico Way and highway 305.

There will be shuttle back to Evergreen Park for $5.
